Final project

In my first interview  I talked to my dads side. In my second Interview i talked my my moms side. After interviewing both side sides I followed up with a Persuasive letter  . Next I wanted to show my creative ability by making a Family-echo Tree outline, also creating a Prezi Family Tree, in addition to making a family  infographic. last but not least i made a Five Frame story board

How did you stop motion animation turn out? If you could give it a grade, what would you give it out of 60 points? What did you learn from creating this video?







My animation was very entertaining, wasn't as long so i'm not sure about getting all 60 points but it's quality over quantity right? i would grade myself a B+. i learned how to make a movie on movie maker with this project, it showed me how to identify a lot of different things and how a lot of different things work, so i think it was a good project to have.

my story board will tell a story of how a bully is really mean  to a nerd and one day hits chokes the nerd knocks the nerd out and the nerd just gave him money to stop beating him up and they became bros.

I am going to make stick figures shoot at each other.. two stick figure guys meet each other and they will begin to attack each other (shoot). My video will be different from others because it will be action and a little violent, which basically is what America is founded upon. I am taking my own photographs, may get a little help with the drawings doe.

 What photo editing tool(s) have you used so far on your 5 photos project? Do you like the tool? Is it easy to use? Hard to use? What's good about it? Whats bad about it? Give a detailed review of the tool.





I am and have been using Fotoflexer, i don't like it because i don't like school work nor editing photographs, so yeah. Yes, Fotoflexer is really easy to use. The good about it is that it's easy  and fast and the effects are right in front of you and you can just do what you want and be done. The bad thing about it is that i don't like photo editing, so i hate the whole idea of this project and it's colorful, colorful things aren't my thing. Anything you can think about doing to a picture is right in front of you while using Fotoflexer.

Journal - What are the pros and cons to photo editing? What are some examples of when photo editing is fun and appropriate? When can photo editing be inappropriate or too much?










The pros of photo editing is girls can make themselves look better by enhancing photos. The cons are you could be lying about your appearance and we people see you they really thunk you're ugly and your pictures look better than you do in person. i actually had to tell a girl that before, and i didn't feel bad about it because she shouldn't have did it. so it can be a good thing for ugly people if they never go outside the house.

how was your weekend?

my weekend was pretty good, i just sat around watched football, went to my little bros football game, he lost real bad, but he plays for north's middle school so it's okay he better get use to losing if he plans on going to north. Sunday i slept till 1 pm from being out all night so that was goo. i got up dinner was ready i ate, watched some more football and played grand theft auto, that was pretty much all i did, pretty normal weekend.

 - What did you learn from the Ted Talk yesterday? Did you find it interesting or accurate? Explain.


I learned that technology is actually ruining us as a society it's teaching us ways to communicate over email, and text messaging, and the face to face conversation is becoming extinct. Also people rather text than talk and most of my friends agreed that they rather text than talk. I found this both interesting and accurate because every point she hit on about texting, and the way the people use the internet to comfort themselves was pretty pathetic and ruining us as a society.

 what i love about the digital age is how girls make the best out of it with pictures, dancing(twerking) videos and half exposed maybe even exposed sometimes, the better technology gets the more i look forward to girls using it. this was such a creep response lol.  i dislike that now predators take advantage of it and try to have sex with little girls and even hackers will take your life earnings with just one simple mistake of giving information to the  wrong cite. positives are helping with your job, school(learning). the dislikes is the teachers and even your boss will now expect things to sometime get done while at home so that sucks.

- Tell me about your Homecoming weekend (whether you went to the activities or not!). Tell me about what you did over the weekend.

Homecoming weekend sucked, because we lost the game. matter of fact i didn't even go to homecoming, i just sat around got turnt up and played grand theft auto and watching college football, Sunday i went to church my dad left me and i had no gas in the car so i had to walk that was pretty bad of a walk. Then i came home to watch more football hoping the chiefs would lose because my entire neighborhood was rooting for them and always thinks it's ok to come over my house and watch the game while i'm trying to relax so that was annoying.

What do you know about infographics? What do you know about them? What are their purpose?


i don't know anything about infographics, so i wouldn't know their purpose, i can definitely take a wild guess though. infographics  pictures that carry information to give you better understanding of things you research or just want to know about. The purpose of info graphics could be to help the student or researcher with any topic they have making it easier, and more fun to learn from. infographics could be use to keep the student intrested in there topic.

My favorite magazine would have to be a playboy, i really don't usually read, so reading a magazine really isn't my thing i do like looking at those hot girls in the playboy books gets me going every time i can get my hands on one. I  mean who doesn't like play boy. so i would definitely say playboy is my favorite magazine to look at.

Journal - Most students view siting work as 'a pain in the butt'. How do you feel about it? Is it necessary? When is it appropriate to cite work? What's the importance of it?



i really hate siting and agree that it is a pain in the butt, especially if your borrowing thoughts from something old article or passage about something, like maybe the creators aren't even alive and can't do anything about it. its appropriate to site work when you borrow ideas for a presentation or paper your're working on, because if not you're stealing someones ideas. the importance of siting is to keep you out of harms way of being sued or even plagiarizing, which is academic dishonesty and MR. Bacon frowns upon that type of stuff so pretty important stuff.

 Tell me about your weekend. Where did you go? What did you do?






My weekend was pretty relaxed, i stayed home with the folks and just watched football. i went to the grocery store a couple of times with moms but that's pretty much it. I also went outside and shot some hoops with the fellas from the neighborhood that was pretty fun. O yeah! I played outside with my young family members pushed them around in there little cars it was kind of cute and UN-manly of me, but i love those little people so I could handle it for an hour or two.

 What is creating an outline for a paper important? Do you think it helps you personally? How would you prefer to outline a paper - pen and paper or an online tool? Is there a different way you know if that would prefer to organize your thoughts?




I think creating an outline is really important because, it really shows you how you will attack your targets and gather your thoughts before you start with your paper. I prefer to outline my paper with stating my topic then giving it enough evidence to back it up. I like to use pen and paper because it's quick and easy and i can fix and add things. If i had to choose i would definitely organize my thoughts the way they are.

Who do you look up to in life? Why? What have they done to help you or guide you?




I don't look up to anyone, not because i don't want to i just never felt the need to. i wake up every morning and i stare life right between the windows of it's soul and i say, I AM GREAT, I WILL BE GREAT IN ANYTHING I DO.  I use the life lessons i've had through my young days to motivate my self also using relatives and friends to motivate me also to not make the same mistakes or just do stuff different . i look for GOD (Jesus) to do a lot of the guiding, i try my best to live for him and just thank him for just being in my life.

 What is good email etiquette and why is it essential in the "real" world? How can having good email etiquette put you ahead?


i don't think it's really that important because you should wanna show your character in your writing, yes write formal and proper use the skills you learned in school, but don't be a robot show you when you write, i feel like; businesses, colleges, co-workers would respect you a whole lot more if they saw you for who you were. Be like the transcendentalist, now have good sense and use grammar, all that proper good stuff, if someone can't accept you for who you are guess you shouldn't be around them or either work for them

                                          I agree, as long as it's not put into a commercial or advertised. i feel like it's fair game. it's not like you're trying to steal their idea. it's just borrowing.  If i owned an image i wouldn't be upset if someone used my image in their project or something minor like that. So really you have to look at this both ways yea it can be a big deal taking someone image, but depending on what they do with the image is what matters.

 If there was one big global issue in the world that you could fix, what would it be? A cure for cancer? Save the rain forest? Stop pollution? Think about it and then write about it. Why would you choose that specific issue?



                                                Poverty, I choose poverty because it saddens me to see someone struggling to survive because they don't have anywhere to live or eat, but still i see buildings being build, schools getting computer but we can't or choosing not to build shelters or homes that unfortunate people can call their home, Poverty is such an easy fix, i mean come on WWJD (WHAT WOULD JESUS DO). I just believe poverty is something we can solve.  A little help can go a long way. even helping foreign countries, lets not be so quick to bomb, but quick to give.

 What are some qualities of a good presentation? How can you make a boring presentation interesting? Explain.


Some good qualities of a good presentation are speaking clearly, smiling, don't just stare at the presentation and read the whole time, act like you know what you're talking about. making a boring presentation interesting is a quick fix as the presenter you need/have to get HYPE about presenting, i mean you are the one who created it so why not go into the presentation a little cocky and confident about your presentation. with confidence not many things can go wrong.If you look good, you feel good, you tend to do good.

Journal - What is the importance of online safety and protecting your information? What do you do to protect yourself online? Share an experience you or someone you know has had with online safety.






The importance of online safety is a pretty serious thing to protect while surfing the internet. knowing or even showing online safety can protect you against protecting your identity, protecting where you live, (so no putting your address online) and where you go to school.                                                                                                                                                                                                                      I had a friend that had a virus on his computer and the only way it told him he could log off his on computer was by typing his social security number and first and last name. My friend knew that if he was to believe that he would be fool, so my friend went on and unplugged everything got rid of his old computer and went and got a mac.

After watching Ashton Kutchers speech I learned that being sexy isn't just about your looks, or what you see on television. its about being smart,thoughtful, and generous. I also got out of Ashton's speech that work is just like opportunity and the harder you work for something the more opportunity you'll get.                                                                                 The quote "Everything around you that you call life was made up by people who were no smarter than you, and you can change it, you can influence it, you can build your own things that other people can use" what this quote means to me is that, just because it may seem as the world is set in stone, and kinda gives you a way of life that society is expecting 'is all crap" Ashton says. Do something that can change the world, be yourself , live life and love it. if you have a dream, or a big idea go for it, you never know what effect it could have.
