Discuss Ethics and Etiquette

Ethics- moral principles, as of an individual

Etiquette- conventional requirements as to social behavior; proprieties of conduct as established in any class or community or for any occasion.

Ethics- moral

Etiquette- Decorum

Examples;   Etiquette- pull the girls seat back to let her sit, eating without your ASHY ASS  elbows on the table, using the napkin to cover your 100$ and up  jeans or "slacks for you classy cats", using each eating utensil for the meal it was designed for. Chewing with your mouth closed. The PROBLEM with Etiquette is it changes culturally

Ethics-

  • Tell the truth
  • Have courage
  • Do not have sex before marriage
  • Keep your promises
  • Do not cheat
  • Treat others as you want to be treated
  • Be trustworthy
  • Do not judge
  • Respect others

  • The PROBLEM with Ethics is that it changes from person to person

Like in Death of a salesman that family does so many UN-ethical things

(Biff) The son- Rough with girls, he's stealing things, flunking math, and even driving without a license.

(Happy) the younger son- habitual liar, really dumb

Willy Loman- Having an affair, Trying to kill himself, borrowing money and can't pay it back, won't take a job from his childhood friend though he is broke.

Linda Loman- Knows her husband is trying to kill himself but won't confront him, family struggling and she never said a word about getting a job herself,

    Formal Research Process

    - Find a topic

-find some articles, magazines, newspaper, Wikipedia, ect....

-Talk about what you found, disagree with it, maybe you agree with it, explain it.

-use quotes, hyperlinks, and just be yourself, type your paper like you be talking to a friend without the slang

-type it and turn it in duh

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/rhetoric?s=t  - For those that did not know what a hyperlink was

    - Young people I couldn't have made this anymore simple, hopefully it helps, don't care if it doesn't

Rhetoric- the ability to use language effectively, and persuade

    - I know you guys are a little wet behind the ears, so lets just say Rhetoric- is like an available means of Persuasion

    - Rhetoric  is used when you're not even thinking about it at times, when trying to convince your parents to let you go to a friends house, and you know there will be drinks and condoms but you're still throwing persuasive things out like; look at my grades, look at my room; look how my attitude has been.

Rhetoric can be used for good though, unlike me, you young people may have to use some persuasion to get a job or even get you in to something good, maybe out of something bad.

In this book that I did not read, but I advise you guys to Devil in the white city the serial killer H.H Holmes using ALL kinds of persuasion to kill people, he wears this good smelling cologne, he dresses all nice, he flirts with them "women" (not men, I don't think he got down like that) he just used lots of rhetoric to trick people and destroy them.

How did you stop motion animation turn out? If you could give it a grade, what would you give it out of 60 points? What did you learn from creating this video?

My animation was very entertaining, wasn't as long so i'm not sure about getting all 60 points but it's quality over quantity right? i would grade myself a B+. i learned how to make a movie on movie maker with this project, it showed me how to identify a lot of different things and how a lot of different things work, so i think it was a good project to have.
